William Henry Collman 89, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 2, 2015. Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bill was a man of integrity, generosity, warmth and humor. His family and friends were the focus of his life. He was born and raised in Michigan, a Navy pilot/flight instructor, graduated from Michigan State University, and was married to Margaret Hughes Collman for 49 years before her passing in 1998. A career in finance took him from Detroit to Chicago to Scottsdale, and finally in retirement to Tucson. Survived by daughter, Sally Jackson Szivek (John); son, James R. Collman (Lynda); grandchildren, Sarah Jackson Culbert (Corey), Tim Jackson (Alicia); blended grandchildren, Anna Szivek Feeley (Matt), Niki Szivek Moreno (Abraham), and great-grandson, Jackson Culbert. A quiet guy, he lived his life with dignity and will be missed. His family would like to thank the caregivers at Villas of La Canada and Agape Hospice for helping to make his last days full of love and tenderness. At his request, there will be no service.
