Dr. Stovall was an inspiration to me at a time when I questioned my own abilities. I was a student of hers in the late 60’s and early 70’s a Cal-State Fullerton. She pushed me to reach the potential I myself did not know I had. I don’t know if she was ever aware of the influence she had on my career and life. Thanks Doc, RIP.

I just found Dr. Stovall's obituary. I am so sorry for you loss. She was an inspiration to me at CSUF in the early 1970s. She was always ahead of her time in planning for the future. She was one of the reasons I had the drive to complete my doctorate degree. She was a great woman and you will never know the extent of her influence on those in the field of education.Sincerely,Dr. Sue Wheeler-Ayres
