Jimmy Swann

Jimmy Lee Swann, age 69 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 after a hard fought courageous battle with lung cancer and other health issues. Jimmy was a graduate of the class of 1964 at Sevier County High School, and was a member of Woodman of the World, Chapter 101 in Sevierville. He had a great passion for racing and restoring cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Pete" and Flora Tipton Swann; grandparents, D.B. and Rhoda Gann Swann and Willie and Sara Nichols Tipton. Survivors: sister, Willa Mae Finchum and husband John, Jr.; niece, Johnna Diane Rhea Finchum and Will Phipps; great-nieces, Brittni Elizabeth Rheachelle Eldridge and Michael Carpenter, Courtni Caroline Victoria Eldridge Stone and Randy Stone; nephew, Michael Frazier and Rachel; great-great niece, Rhealee Elizabeth Victoria Eldridge-Stone; great-great nephew, Caleb John Randall Stone; special cousin and caregiver, Faye McGinnis.
Family and friends will leave Atchley Funeral Home at 9:30 AM, Saturday for graveside service and interment at Middle Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Glenn Metts officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 PM, Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
