Leon McPherson Obituary

Leon M. 'Lee' McPherson, age 78, of St. Charles, Illinois died on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mary Jane; daughters, Susan (Edward) Chandler, Lynn (Silas) Jayne, and Jil (Ron) Neri; and grandchildren, Grace Chandler, Mack Chandler, Thomas Chandler, Matthew Beth, and Natalie Jayne. He is preceded in death by his brother, James McPherson and his parents, Leon and Ola McPherson. Lee served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1959. He spent his career of 35 years at Illinois Bell Telephone/ATT/Lucent Technologies. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 29 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 320 Franklin Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 55 E. Monroe Street #3420, Chicago, Illinois 60603.
