Jeanne Chambers Brandon was born on May 14, 1921 in Murray, KY and lived in Jefferson Parish since 1954. The angels came and returned her to her Lord on Thursday, August 13, 2015. She was a true Christian that was greatly loved by her family and friends. She was an amazing, independent woman who never hesitated to speak her mind. She traveled all over the world in her 94 years, and shared her love of wine, books, art and all the enjoyable things in life with the many friends she cared about. Remembering her still are her daughter, Suzi (Jim) Clemmensen, her grandson, Hans (Kerry) Clemmensen, her granddaughter, Heidi (Jonathan) Burke, and great granddaughters, Aliceon Clemmensen, Heather Clemmensen and Rivers Rae Burke. The family will be celebrating her life on September 13th. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank, 700 Edwards Avenue, New Orleans, La 70123.
