Kenneth D. "Ken" Fensterbush, age 64, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Carlisle on December 30, 1950 to the late Clarence F. and Verna Whistler Fensterbush.
Ken worked as a forklift operator at the Book of the Month Club and formerly worked at the PPG plant in Carlisle. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #1299, the White Circle Club of Carlisle and the Carlisle AMVETS, Post 274. He enjoyed swimming and watching all types of sports.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna L. Shellenberger Fensterbush of Carlisle; a daughter, Cindy (and husband Jason) White of Carlisle; two sisters, Judy (and husband Tony) Monnett and Gloria Popp, all of Carlisle; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by two brothers, Rubin and Bobby Fensterbush.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Private burial will be at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday.

Ken was a hardworker during our "BOMC" days. Always willing to get down from that
forklift and give a helping hand. Quick witted and always a good sport when the joke was on him. Ken, Deb Staub, and I got the shipments out of there. So sorry
