Jerry Godfry, DVM of Chester Springs Jerry Godfry, DVM, 69 of Chester Springs, Pa. died Wednesday September 30, 2015. He was the husband of Jane Irma Froman Godfry. Jerry was born December 10, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was the son of the late Samuel Godfry and the late Ilse Kanter Godfry. Jerry was a member of the National Guard. He was a Veterinarian and the owner of Frazer Animal Hospital for 35 years. Jerry was an avid Lionel Train collector and was a former member of the East Whiteland Fire Company, where he served for 31 years. His true passion in life was his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jameson David Godfry, Jennifer Ilse Olga Myers and her husband Daniel, Jillian Heather Krssly and her husband Kirk; grandchildren, Kennedy, Samantha and Elliana; brothers, Harvey Godfry and his wife Harriet, Norman Godfry and his wife Ronnie; niece, Pamela Froman Goldman her husband Jay and their son Hudson. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Graveside Service, 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 2 at Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Frazer, PA 19355. Receiving time for family and friends will be Friday after his burial; Sunday October 4 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Shiva will be observed on Saturday October 3 at 7:30 p.m.; all taking place at the Godfry residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103, and/or Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015. Dr. Godfrey took care of our dogs at Frazer until he retired. His heart was full of compassion and love for all animals and he became a dear friend to us. We were heartbroken to hear of his passing, but we know he is in God's loving arms. Our sincere condolences to all of his family, you are all in our prayers.

Jerry you will be sadly missed, when I had to goto another state your clinique graciously came and took my pets and kept them till I got back it was a good two weeks my husband had taken ill in another state. May god bless you and keep you and your family , you wee a wonderful compasionet vet
