Frances Rometta Tucker
Simpsonville
Frances Rometta Tucker of Mayfield Drive, in Simpsonville, widow of Edwin F. Tucker, died Friday Oct 02, 2015 at McCalls Hospice House. Born in Greenville, SC. Mrs. Tucker was the daughter of the late Adger Lee & Daisy Othella Curry. She was retired from her cleaning business and before that was a textile worker. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, and her brothers Walter Buddy Curry, John Pat Curry, and sister's Irene Clement, Martha Alexander, Doris Mahon, Lois Ann Tucker, & Patricia Boyce.
Frances is survived by her son Edwin F. Tucker Jr of Simpsonville, as well as many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday Oct 7th at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn from 6 to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall's Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, 29680.

Rometta was a wonderful and very loving person who will be greatly missed. She was always so sweet and welcomed us with open arms, hugs and kisses. While we have not been able to make the trips to South Carolina in recent years, we love both of you and miss you very much.
