Lillian M. Foreman, age 90 of Manitou Beach, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at the Lenawee County Medical Care Facility in Adrian.
Lillian was born on Feb. 25, 1925, in Mason, Mich., the daughter of Harold and Edna (Burk) Darrow. She married Robert C. Foreman on Oct. 21, 1944, in Leslie, Mich., and he preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 2007.
Lillian graduated from Mason High School in June of 1943. She retired from the State of Michigan, working as a processing clerk with the Department of Corrections, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the North Rome Baptist Church in Manitou Beach.
Lillian is survived by two daughters, Janet (Wesley) Sorrells of Noblesville, Ind., and Barbara (Scott) Farrant of Huntley, Ill.; four grandchildren, Brent (Angie) Sorrells, Kristen (Steve) Fuquay, Jennifer (Todd) Garifo and Shane (Brooke) Farrant; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Torbett of Kingsford, Mich., and Nancy Donaldson of Mason, Mich.; one niece; and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Foreman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison with Pastor Fritz Kruse officiating. Burial will take place in North Rome Cemetery, Rome Township, Lenawee County, Mich. The visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
