Helen Knight Obituary

Knight, Helen M. (Marasco) 102 Oct. 17, 1913 Oct. 20, 2015 Helen was born in Gresh- am to Frank Marasco and Petrina (Chiodo) Marasco. She had recently celebrated her 102nd birthday. She worked as a statistical secretary for many companies in the timber industry, including the Timberman magazine and MB&G. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Knight; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward W. Knight Jr.; son, Edward William Knight III; sisters, Franny Shumaker, Kay Teresi, Vivian Standish, Florence Barry, Edyth Graham and Esther Wacker; and brother, James Marasco. Many thanks to Kaiser Hospice, the staff at Courtyard Assisted Living and best friend, Dorothy Pickard, for all their support during her brief illness. At her request, there will be no service. Remembrances may be made to Trillium Family Services, 3415 S.E. 36th Ave., Portland, OR 97202.

My thoughts are with Helen's family. I have good memories of working with Helen at MB&G during the 1970's and early 1980's until her retirement. She was a wonderful and caring person.
