Nov. 18, 1947 – Nov. 15, 2015 Warren D. Kornegay, age 67 of Bessemer died November 15, 2015 at home. Funeral services will be Graveside 3 PM Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Northport, Alabama with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Brother Ronnie Philpot will be officiating. Warren was preceded in death by his parents Billy and Flora Kornegay, and brother Billy Douglas. Warren is survived by his daughter Twyla Renee Cline of Montevallo, son Brian Keith Kornegay of Montevallo, brothers Gerald and Larry Kornegay of Centreville, Grandchildren Christian Kornegay of Ashville, Megan Kornegay of Springville, Lindsey Kornegay of Montevallo, David Cline of Montevallo, Great Grandchildren Gloria and Amanda Kornegay of Ashville. Warren worked in the electrical department for 43 years at ACIPICO. He also was owner of Kornegay Electric Company. Pallbearers will be Andy Kornegay, Jason Kornegay, Billy Kornegay, Jim Dragon, Larry Wray and David Crawford. Honorary Pallbearers are Electrical Department at ACIPICO, his caregiver Ashley Kornegay, Dr. Barry McLean and his many other friends.
