Johnston, beloved husband of the late Janet Johnston (nee Sanner) and the late Mary Ellen Johnston (nee Kinnaird); dear father of Jean Taylor Johnston and Elizabeth Janet 'Betsy' Jackson and her husband James Jackson; dear grandfather of Anne Taylor Gillyard, Christian Andrew McKenzie Simpson, Lawton Edward Sterling Jackson, Marina Elizabeth Jackson, and Brandon Marshall Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Rd, Timonium, MD 21093. Friends may call the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road, (at Overbrook Road) Baltimore, MD 21212 on Friday from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
