Funeral service for Peggy R. Willingham , 77, will be Saturday, November 21, 2015, 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Dr. C.O. Grinstead will be officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends on today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Willingham passed away on Wednesday at her residence. Survivors include her daughter, Kim Hodge (Bill); son, Hal Willingham Jr; grandchildren, Jessica Hurst, Aubrey Laughrey, Amber Willingham, Heather Willingham; great-granddaughter, Cheri Schaeffel; sister, Betty Cowser; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Willingham was a native Birmingham and had lived in Oxford for the past 35 years. She was retired as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years of service. Mrs. Willingham was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
