Frances F. Baggett
Virginia Beach - Frances Forsman Baggett, age 90, left this Earth and entered the arms of our heavenly father on Sunday, November 22, 2015. She is survived by her son, William "Bill" Baggett, her daughter, Nancy Baggett Conrad and husband David, sister-in-law's Polly Baggett and Virginia Larrimore, nephew Benjamin Forsman, and many loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Arthur Walton Baggett, infant daughter, Linda Frances Baggett, and brother Benjamin Forsman.
She was a long time member of the fellowship at Virginia Beach Community Chapel. She volunteered for 20 years with the church ministry at Camelot Nursing Home. Until her health became an issue, she spent 10 years as a volunteer at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Many lives were blessed because of her gift of giving. Mom's purpose in life was to help others and serve.
"Others, Lord, yes, others,
let this my motto be;
Help me to live for others,
that I may live like thee."
Special thanks to the nurses and caregivers from Hospice and Palliative of Tidewater, and private nurse Virginia Cocke, for their devoted care of our mom.
A memorial service will be held at Virginia Beach Community Chapel on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach Community Chapel Missions Fund, 1261 Laskin Road, Va. Beach, VA 23454. Online condolences may be made at hdoliver.com.

Bill and Nancy, I love your Mom. Frances was my friend. She was really one of the nicest people that I have ever known. Bill, you've been faithful and loving to your Mom. Nancy, I look forward to meeting you one day, and sharing with you, my appreciation and love for your Mom. That girl was a pistol, a fabulous cook, the "hostess with the mostest," funny, a servant, and a daughter of the King. She really loved the Lord and all of her children, deeply. I miss her. -Mary Moon
