Son of the late Thomas Ellsworth and Mary Agnes (McDonough) Shaffer; beloved brother of Kay (Bill) Kohler and the late Thomas E. Shaffer, Earl Shaffer and Jean DeCello; uncle of Rita (Carl) Walzer and Emily (Carl) Nordstrom; great-uncle of Zachary and Mitchell Nordstrom; dear friend of Dawn Babuscio and Billie Lamantia. Visitation Saturday, 9 a.m. in R.V. ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 315 East Tenth Ave., Homestead, with Blessing Service at 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
