Mary A Miller, 93, of Hegins, passed away Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.
Born in Hegins, Feb. 19, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Harvey V. and Katie Maus Huntzinger.
She had worked in area garment factories prior to her retirement.
Mary was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.
She enjoyed traveling with her sisters and friends and also liked to garden, sew and crochet in her younger years.
Her husband, Clervin L. Miller, passed away in 1983. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Gloria A. Starr and Isabel "Chubby" Schwartz; three brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda J. Todd and her husband, Bob, Curwensville, and Mary Alice Unger and her husband, Maynard, Norristown; a son, Randy C. Miller and his wife, Sheree, Hegins; 10 grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Greg Unger, Pam Golaszewski, Holly Martin, Kevin Schadel, Jeff Schwartz, Jennifer Bordner, Terrie Ann McCoy, Bonnie Stoner and Scott Scheib; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Friedens Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 375, Hegins, PA 17938. Flowers will be provided by the family.
