Margaret A. (Peggy) Caffrey, 82, formerly of Larksville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Wyoming Manor, Wyoming.
She was born Dec. 4, 1933, in Plymouth, the daughter of the late John and Loretta (Barrett) Kearney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles; daughter, Susan Ann; infant son, Samuel James; and brothers, Jack Kearney and Robert Kearney.
She was a 1952 graduate of Plymouth High School.
A life resident of the Plymouth/Larksville area, she was employed by Atwater Throwing Co., Plymouth, and, prior to retirement, was a manager for McDonald's Corp., Edwardsville.
She is survived by her sons, James and wife, Stephanie Caffrey, Jenkins Township; and Michael and wife, Kim Caffrey, Lehman Township; daughter, Colleen and husband, Chris Turant, Hughestown; and daughter, Patricia and husband, Ron Pastory, Iowa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael and wife, Rachel, Kyle, James and Meghan Caffrey, Kearney and Ryan Turant and Shannah and Donovan Pastory.
The family is grateful for the support and care she received from the staff of Wyoming Manor, as well as from Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township, followed by a Christian burial in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Larksville.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
