Victor Michael Stefano

VICTOR MICHAEL STEFANO It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Stefano of Mebane, NC on December 31, 2015. Michael was born on August 18, 1951, in Wilmington, NC to Joseph and Frances Stefano. He grew up in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach and had many friends. He attended Maharishi University in Fairfield, IA and was a talented artist, writer, and quite a philosopher. He was devoted to family and was the glue that connected us when life scattered us in so many directions. Michael leaves behind his devoted partner, Doug Collie of Mebane, beloved cat Oliver, sisters Rosie Binkley of Raleigh and Margaret Clayshulte of Las Cruces, NM, stepsister Grace Hannafey of Wrightsville Beach, stepbrother Bill Hannafey and wife Martha of Wilmington, numerous nieces, a nephew and a host of wonderful friends. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
