Pauline C. Shuster Basking Ridge resident who spent her early years in Ireland and England, 76 Pauline C. Shuster, 76, of Basking Ridge, N.J., passed away on Jan. 13, 2016. Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at 10 a.m.at St. James Church, 184 Finley Ave., Basking Ridge. Pauline was born in Ireland on July 2, 1939, in the Town of Dundalk, Lough County, to Mary and Thomas Matthews. She grew up under the care of her beloved grandmother, whom she lived with until the ageof 8 years. At that age, she moved with her loving parents to Manchester, England, for another 8 years, until the age of 16. Her aunt took her to live with her in Delaware, where she eventually married her beloved husband, Burton Edward Shuster. Pauline spent the years of her career at Union Carbide and Triangle Tool. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Anne Lipke; three grandchildren, Crystal Lipke, Brandon Lipke and Richard Lipke, along with three great-grandchildren, Kieran, Colin and Rebecca. Pauline resided with Robert Donnelly for the past 33 years until her passing.
