Julia Elvira Brown
Julia Elvira Brown, age 92, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Good Samaritan Center, Dowling Park.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, 11:00 AM, January 30, 2016 at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel with burial at Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at Beggs Funeral Home.
She was born in Glen St. Mary, Florida on July 31, 1923 to Herman Harmon and Osie Williams. She lived most of her life in Lee. She loved cooking, and sharing recipes with people and sharing things with people that needed it. She was a very talented seamstress. She loved Genealogy and attended Corinth Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 sons: Billy Brown (Margaret) of Lee, Harold Brown (Peggy) of Madison and Dale Brown (Paula) of Louisville, KY; 1 daughter: Louise Dunnavan (Roger) of Carney's Point, NJ.
3 sisters: Osie Mae O'Steen of Dowling Park, Ila Belle Bell (James) of Lee and Carolyn Moore (Tom) of Lee; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband: Walter M. Brown; daughter: Osie Marie Brown; Grandson: Brian Todd Ware.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Corinth Primitive Baptist Cemetery Fund, Lee, Florida, or Advent Christian Village Dowling Park, Florida.
