Passed away on January 23, 2016 at age 74. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1959. Survived by a daughter, Khrystal Monique Lipscomb; two sisters, Yvonne L. Davis, and Jean M. Buffington (Anthony Sr.); and a grand-dog named Bella. Preceded in death by her parents, Vivian M. and Leon Wright. Visiting at Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home on Friday, January 29, from 3 - 5 p.m. Services will be Saturday, January 30, at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1204 St. Joseph Street, at 9 a.m. conducted by Henry Brown. Interment in Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery.
