ELAINE N. MARTIN, 85, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, in Manor Care of Dallastown, PA. Born June 27, 1930, in Franklintown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene & Pauline (Ryder) Nell and was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Z. Martin.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Audrey Ritter, Marilyn Martin, and Linda Ricci (Mark), and one son, Brian Martin (Kathy); seven grandchildren, Denise Ritter, Crystal Wilson, Josh Ricci, Brandon Ricci, and Luke, Eric, and Katie Martin; three great grandchildren, three sisters, and five brothers.
Elaine was a dairy farmer who worked at the Paxtang Daily Market and the former Fox's Grocery Store. She was also a member of the Ridgeway Church of the Brethren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 1, 2016, at 12:00 noon, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Renewal Foundation, 60 E. 56th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022.

To Elaine's family, I send my deepest sympathies. I didn't know Elaine as well as I should have, but I do know that she was a wonderful friend to her Aunt Mary Mayhew. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
