James J. "Jim" DeCourcey III, 66, of Randolph and North Falmouth passed away on Jan. 30, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Jim is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 45 years, Donella (Oser) DeCourcey. Jim is also survived by what he had always deemed his two proudest accomplishments, his daughter, Kimberly (DeCourcey) Zajac of Mansfield and his son James J. DeCourcey IV of Scituate as well as their spouses, Matthew Zajac and Jody (Magilson) DeCourcey. As anyone who knew Jim would know, he was the very proud Poppy of his five grandchildren, Caitlyn Zajac, James J. (Quinn) DeCourcey V, Amy Zajac, Greyson DeCourcey and Reagan DeCourcey who were the light of his life and his favorite subject of conversation. Jim's love for his family and their love for him will live on forever. Jim was the son of Catherine Geraldine (Drain) DeCourcey and the late James J. DeCourcey Jr. Jim is survived by his sister Susan and husband Joseph Roberts, his brother Robert and wife Elizabeth and sister Marianne and husband Paul Reiss as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and family members. Jim was an accomplished transportation and distribution manager for more than 30 years and completed his working career as assistant district facilities coordinator for MASS DOT, Taunton. His funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., Randolph on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 9:45 a.m. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 211 North Main St., Randolph at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are Tuesday, Feb 2, from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment private.
