Roger McCollough Obituary

Roger Russell McCollough, 64, died in Red Bluff, Calif. A service of tribute and love will be held at Eternal Hills Chapel on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at 2 p.m. with interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Roger was born in Osage, Ark., to Brad and Erma McCollough on March 17, 1951. The family then moved in 1952 to Klamath Falls, where he grew up in the Klamath Basin and Tulelake area. He then began a career as a truck driver, working in log truck driving and long haul. He worked for several companies in the Klamath Basin, including Jack Jacobs & Morris Transfer. He married Glenda Killien in 1998 and she preceded him in death in 2005. He then moved to Gerber, Calif., to be near his sister. Roger enjoyed working on trucks and cars and just enjoyed being busy. His is survived by his daughter Gloria and her daughter Addison; sisters Geraldine Newberry and Eillene and Marvin Packard; sisters-in-law Vesta McCollough and Chris McCollough; one granddaughter; and several aunts, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Bob, Bill, Carl, Burt, John and Jim, a daughter, and a nephew John Christopher McCollough. Eternal Hills Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
