Painter, Mr. Hoyt Houston, age 82, a resident of Elmore, AL passed away on January 31, 2016. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016, 11 am from Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ricardo Rodriquez officiating. Mr. Painter served in the US Army and retired from the State of Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt Huston and Maxine Gilmore Painter, wife, Margaret Painter, son, Christopher Painter sister, Joann Robinson. Survivors include sons, Hoyt H. (Wendy) Painter of Marbury, AL; Richard (LaTonya) Painter of Elmore, AL; brother, Carlton Gilmore Painter of Las Vegas, NV; 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers family request memorial to charity of choice. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2016, 10 to 11 am at the funeral home. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL directing.
