DENVILLE - Robert Iannacone, 79, of Denville passed away on Feb. 6, 2016.
Robert was born in Jersey City, and lived in Sparta from 1965-2000, then lived briefly in Pennsylvania before moving to Denville six years ago. He worked many years as both an insurance and mortgage salesman. Robert refurbished clocks, loved cars, and loved playing cards but loved being with his family the most.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Dolores Lucci Iannacone. Devoted father of Stephen and his wife, Theresa; Mark and his wife, Robin; Debbie Scheidemantel and her husband, Eric; Lisa Iannacone and Valerie Iannacone; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Perry Iannacone.
Friends may call Thursday, Feb. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at St. Kateri Church, 427 Stanhope Road, Sparta. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to: The Western Pennsylvania Kidney Support Group, 741 Glengarry Court, Pittsburgh, PA. 15239.
