Alberta Boudreaux Griffin passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Calvin A. Griffin. Mother of Trudy G. Juneau and Calvin J. Griffin (Gail). Grandmother of Shanna Manor (Steven), Scott Juneau (Lori), Matthew Griffin (Jennifer), Adam Griffin (Ashley), and Callie Griffin. Great grandmother of Taylor, Austin, Reagan, Gavin, Launa, Drew, and one Griffin great grandchild on the way. Daughter of the late Charles Jacob Boudreaux and Albertine Savoie. Sister of Vera B. Butler, Dolores B. Breaux (Wilder), Yvonne B. Dumas, Geraldine B. Aucoin (Joseph), Gail B. Brooks (Leslie), and the late Beatrice B. Melancon and Charles Joseph Boudreaux, Sr. She was born in Des Allemands, raised in Gretna, spent most of her life in Algiers, and most recently resided in Houma, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna, LA on February 12, 2016 from 8:30 AM until Funeral Mass time at 10:30 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. Mothe Funeral Home handling arrangements.
