FARMINGTON - Gordon Wright, 67, of Farmington passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at 1:20 p.m. at Prairieview Nursing Home in Lewistown.
Gordon was born to Robert and Lois (Parr) Wright on Nov. 30, 1948.
Surviving are his mother; two daughters; brother, Rollen (Glendale) Wright of Farmington; and sister, Janet (Roger) Jackson of Macomb.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Gordon was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard, a member of the American Legion of Farmington, and member of the Baptist Church in Farmington.
He worked for Wright Equipment in Farmington, Petrolane Gas and MATCO Tools.
Gordon enjoyed operating his HAM radio and volunteering for ESDA.
Cremations rites will be accorded with a burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery held at a later date.
The family expresses their appreciation to the Prairieview Nursing Home staff and the Harbor Light Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue 1100 or to Prairieview Nursing Home.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.

I was so sorry to read of Gordon's passing. I have known Gordon for a long time. Always hard to lose a friend and a classmate You have my sincere condolences and are in my prayers.

Fond memories of childhood and youth days spent with Cousin Gordon in Farmington.
