Mueller, Elaine
Elaine E. Mueller, 85, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Artisan Assisted Living.
She was born on May 21, 1930, in St. Marie Township, Princeton, Wisconsin, a daughter of Herbert and Lena Lehman Schultz. Elaine was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1948, and continued to stay in touch with her classmates after graduation.
On October 20, 1951, she married George H. Mueller at St. John's Lutheran Church, Princeton. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2013.
George and Elaine owned Like Nu Cleaners in Princeton from 1951-1964. After that, they moved to Fond du Lac, and she worked at Osco Drug for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking.
Elaine was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Nadine) Mueller of Fond du Lac; a granddaughter, Kayla Mueller; four sisters-in-law, Lynn Schultz of Fond du Lac, Alfreada Wegenke of Montello, Grace Crow of Texas, and Judy Nagel of Montello; numerous nieces and nephews; her faithful cat, Muffin; and her faithful friends: "Talk time" Phyllis Jahns, Bob and Ev Schuman, and Judy Bender.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; an infant sister, Shirley; and a brother, Dennis Schultz.
VISITATION: The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 North Prairie Road, Fond du Lac.
FUNERAL SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. David L. Haugly officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery, Princeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, Generations Hospice, or the Fond du Lac Humane Society.
The family extends special thanks to the Emergency Room staff and the nurses at St. Agnes Hospital for the wonderful care provided to Elaine on her numerous visits. Also they would like to thank Laura and the staff at Artisan Assisted Living and to Generations Hospice for their care and compassion.

It was a true joy to care for Elaine in her final months. I'll miss her smile and the conversations we shared. I'll always remember what fun we had at nail time :) thank you for letting me be part of her final journey. Amber c.n.a
