Anna Mae (Reinhard) Scheidt, 86, of Kutztown, died on Thursday, April 7, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She was the widow of the Robert L. Scheidt Sr., who died March 30, 2003. Born in Linfield, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Manrow J. Reinhard and Myrtle M. (Geist) Reinhard.
She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville, where she was a was active in the L.C.W. She was employed as a sewer and union steward for Fleetwood Shirt Company for 30 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons: Robert L., husband of Nancy (Miller) Scheidt, Scott A., husband of Denise (Dietrich) Scheidt, all of Kutztown, and Craig L., husband of Tracey (Roesch) Scheidt, Mohnton; sister, Janice L., (Reinhard), wife of Curtis Angstadt; brother, Ronald M., husband of Carol (Knaus) Reinhard.
There are also five grandchildren: Adrienne R. (Scheidt), wife of Brian Wright, Ryan S., husband of Kim Scheidt, Allison M. Scheidt, Amberly J. Scheidt and Alexander C. Scheidt; and two great-grandchildren, Miles R. Wright and Madelyn S. Scheidt.
Anna Mae was predeceased by brothers: James M., husband of Anna Mae (Angstadt) Reinhard, Robert L., husband of Mildred (Romig) Reinhard, and Gene D., husband of Mina Reinhard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood (Dryville), with Reverend Cheryl F. Meinschein officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church.
The family requests contributions be made in Anna Mae's memory to the Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
