MINER CAROLYN SMITH MINER, age 75, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 10, 2016 at her home in North Olmsted after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Carolyn and her husband delivered Meals on Wheels, reflecting her heart for ministering to the elderly. She loved plants, flowers and working in her yard. Carolyn was an avid bridge player. She was devoted to her husband, family, friends and neighbors. Carolyn will truly be remembered and missed for her generous heart and warm, loving spirit. The grace with which she lived her life inspired all those around her and will have a lasting impact on all who met and knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Henry Miner, sons Frank Miner (Penny) of Katy, Texas and Ed Miner of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; daughter Cora Taylor (Art) of North Ridgeville, Ohio; grandsons, Hank Miner (Julie) of Swansboro, North Carolina, Albert Miner of Katy, Texas and John Miner of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her sisters, Joyce Barfield (late Emett) of Lexington, Kentucky, Becky Dadisman (Ernest) of Gainesville, Georgia.
