Bobbie J. Knox-Roy 1949—2016
Bobbie Joyce Knox-Roy, of Rockford departed this earthly life Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at SwedishAmerican Hospital. She was born December 6, 1949, in Crawfordsville, Arkansas; the daughter of Howard and Bobbie Lee Knox. Bobbie lived in Rockford over 40 years, coming from Chicago. She was employed in shipping and handling by Bergners Distribution Center. She graduated from Phelix High School, Marion, Arkansas, and received her Associates degree from Monticello Junior College. Bobbie leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Leah and Sybil Knox; son, Rodney (Karen) Knox; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie B. Davis and Arlease Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at Christian Union Baptist Church, 1705 Kilburn Avenue. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State Street.

Ms.Bobbie. When, you were with family and friends the laughter never ended. So, don't let the laughter stop. Keep them laughing on the other side. Family, Ms. Bobbie, is doing just fine. Our God, is still in the business of blessings. Never, doubt that. Keep the faith and keep your head up. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.
