DELAWARE — Wesson Edward Ball, 24, of Delaware, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
He was born Feb. 25, 1992 in Delaware to Mary (Todd) Hayes of Marengo and Michael (Heather) Ball of Delaware.
He was a lifelong resident of Delaware and Ashley and attended Buckeye Valley Schools. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mud-running, and fast cars and trucks, but most of all, he loved his son.
Wes is survived by his son, Hunter Ball of Ashley; both parents and step-parents; brothers, Bryce, Kyle, Kaleb Hayes of Marengo and Jared Ball of Hilliard; sister, Taylor Ball of Hilliard; grandmother, Sandra Barrows of Delaware; aunts, Lora (Beth) Covrett of Aurora, Colo., Sheila (Kevin) Neville of Ashley and Mary Anderson of Delaware; girlfriend, Shelby Jackson of Ashley; and numerous friends, cousins, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by beloved grandfathers, Bud Barrows and Melvin Covrett; great-grandparents, Blanche and Sherman Ball; and uncles, Rod and Todd Munday.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware. The funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Eastside Mission Church with Pastor Donnie Akers officiating.

I am so sorry for Wesson's passing, way too early in his life. I was his counselor in high school. I believe that he and I had a good relationship; I appreciated his gentleness, kindness, and friendship. May God bless and comfort his family in their terrible loss and sadness. Jeannie Hall
