Monk, Ms. Margaret
Ms. Margaret Monk, 75, of Tallassee, passed away April 24, 2016. She was born October 10, 1940. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 26 at 11:00am at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Estes officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at 10:30am at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Frances Pate; daughter, Elaine Monk Shirley (David); brother, William Mack Monk; sisters, Frances Brantley, Velma Rice and Dianne Funderburk; and grandson, Hunter Griffith. She is preceded in death by her father, Dudley Monk; brother, Robert Allen Monk; brother-in-law, Richard Brantley Sr. and great nephew, Bouke Peters.
