We are very sorry for the Clarkson family. We were out of the city over the past week and didn't know John had passed away.

As a youth, I always related to the friendly name..Johnny, he & Doris, next door long term neighbours at Christie lake, Perth. I/WE knew 4-5 of his army contingent-surveyors, & they all shaped our lives. A very bright man, English gentleman...indeed had my parents respect.
I recall Roger, but esp. his sister, their da. Linda Peart, the last time [seen] had just fini. her teachers certificate, bright eyed cheery, heading out labour day to first assign. near Pembroke, or Algonquin Pk., can't recall..youth, youth, how lovely they are.
But, as well, I'm so pleased, the ref. here from larry M. of C.D., did [know] that wonderful service, fellowship provided for/in geriatric services, indeed a fellow military compatriot...'right to the end', or to a new beginning, "a incredible thing, unfolding", now no mystery for me. k +, wkeithscott....these happening's make me a Octogenarian, feel so young, so rich. Thank You...

Uncle John was one of a kind.
I will always remember talking with him. No matter how old or young (I was) he was always one of the most interesting people. One of my earliest childhood memories is going out with him, calling the chickides and feeding the birds. I loved hearing tales of the war and London from him and aunt Dorris. Later in life I love birds and lived in London for years. Always thinking of them.
May he rest in peace with his lovely wife.
My deepest condolences to the family.
