NICHOLLS
Ronald E., 81, of Clifton died Monday, April 25, 2016. Born in Newark, he resided in Belleville before moving to Clifton 56 years ago. A graduate of N.J.I.T., Ron was employed as a project manager engineer for I.T.T. in Nutley for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1996. He was a craftsman who enjoyed building model ships and was a volunteer coach for the Delawanna little league. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, the former Barbara Hill, by two sons, Glenn and wife Laurie of Enfield, CT and Ron and wife, Charlene of Metuchen, by a daughter, Pam Motyka and husband, Tom of Metuchen, by seven grandchildren, Cady, Jeffrey, Jaclyn, Anna, Melissa, Noelle, Mary and husband, Mark, by two great-grand-children, Tristan and Aurora and by a brother, Ted and wife, Toni of Oklahoma City, OK. He is predeceased by a sister, Joan Smith. A memorial gathering will be held Friday 4-8 PM at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the American Heart Association.

Sorry about Ron, Barb. Have not seen you in many years, but the memories linger on. Our time in Johnson's Deli and Rons coaching the little league team brought us in contact many times. My condolences to you and your children.
