MEDWAY — Edward Szary, 79, of Medway, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 19, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of the late William & Mary (Hlubik) Szary. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and was a Civil Engineer, Chief of Planning at Wright Patterson AFB. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Szary; children, Victoria (Daniel) Howard, Tina Altevers, Tabitha (Mike) Stoltz; fourteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; daughters-in-law; two sisters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Szary; two daughters, Darlene Jenks & Catherine Miller. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio with military honors and funeral service at 7 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com.
