AUBURN — Maxine Keller, 91 formerly of Waterloo, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1925, in Alvarado in Steuben County to Ernest and Leona (Smith) Eyster.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church.
Maxine married Harold E. Keller Sr. on April 6, 1947, in Auburn, and he passed away Oct. 29, 1999.
Surviving are three children, Harold (Jo) Keller Jr. of Auburn, Harriet L. (Steve) Simmons of Fort Wayne and Toni S. (Rick) Pearson of LaOtto; seven grandchildren, Nick (Elizabeth) Keller, Matt (Sarah) Keller, Barb (Scott) Starry, Andy (Tracy) Simmons, Darcy (Ryan) Siggers, Clay (Brittney) Pearson and Guy Pearson; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Haase of Sarasota, Florida, and Marlene (Walt) Miller of Ocala, Florida; and two sisters-in-laws, Carol Cummings and Sue (Jerry) Surface, both of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a great-grandson Joey Keller and two sisters, June Friskey and Marguerite Gowthrop.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery.
Calling is Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the Waterloo United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association.
