Gloria M. Sefton, 86, of Saxonburg passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries with her beloved husband and family at her side.
Born June 2, 1929, in Moon Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frank Wilhelm and Mary (Fenio) Wilhelm.
Gloria's passion was her career in nursing. She retired from Sewickley Valley Hospital and then continued to work for Dr. Denver, OB/GYN, in Moon Township.
Gloria was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed painting, needlepoint, cooking and caring for her family.
Surviving are her loving husband, Glenn Sefton, who she married June 19, 1950; her sons, Glenn D. Sefton of Saxonburg and Bill (Beverly) Sefton of Warrenton, Va.; her daughter, Debbie Heitzenrater of Economy; her brother, Frank Wilhelm of Moon Township; five grandchildren, Michael Heitzenrater, Leigh (Tim) Blain, Seth Heitzenrater, Liza (Chris) Arnal and Kimberly Sefton-Gray; seven great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Tyler, Caleb, Greyson, Alexis, Kaitlynn and Jayson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart Wilhelm; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, George and Wilma Sefton and David and Alice Sefton; and sister-in-law, Esther Wilhelm.
SEFTON - Friends of Gloria M. Sefton, who died Saturday, May 7, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Porter officiating. Interment will follow at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 446, Saxonburg, PA 16056.

Glenn and Bill it is my desire to let you know that your sorrow is not lost to your friends. You are a a couple of great people to know and I was very sad to hear of the loss of your mother.
