June (MacDonald) Carpenter of Holbrook, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully at her home, April 30, 2016, at the age of 78. She was the loving mother of Cindy (Carpenter) OBrien of Holbrook, the late Michael Frizzel and Leo Carpenter Jr.; dear Gram of Richard Joseph OBrien Jr. and Michael David Frizzell Jr.; devoted sister of Richard MacDonald of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. Reposing at Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin Street (Rte. 37), Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period Saturday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
