She was born on December 1, 1961 in Bridgewater, a daughter of the late Leonard and Ruby Dean Campbell. She grew up in Bridgewater, moved to Dayton at the age of 13, moving to Harrisonburg later in life.
Anita graduated from Montevideo High School and was a clerical worker at Rockingham Construction for many years and at WKCY Radio before becoming disabled 15 years ago.
She attended Park View Mennonite church where she enjoyed attending Sunday school with friends. Before becoming ill she enjoyed playing pool, singing karaoke, spending time with her family and painting ceramics.
On February 14, 2014 she married Robert I. Jackson, who survives.
She is also survived by daughters, Tiffany Agler of Waynesboro, Jessica Rice of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Ava and Andrew Agler of Waynesboro and Trenton Rice of Harrisonburg; brothers, Michael and Jeffrey Campbell, both of Broadway; and several nieces and nephews.
Her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 4:30 pm, Friday, May 20, 2016 at Park View Mennonite Church.
