Guadalupe “Lupita” Castro Acosta, 41, of El Paso returned to her heavenly home on May 26, 2016. Lupita was born on October 29, 1974. She graduated from Loretto Academy in 1994. Lupita earned her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and worked as a kindergarten teacher for St. Clement’s Parish School since 2000. Lupita is survived by her husband, Kristopher, children Kristian and Alessandra; grandmother Guadalupe G. Dominguez; parents Gustavo and Veronica Castro; brother Gustavo Jr. and wife Michelle of San Angelo; brother Robert and wife Cindy of Dallas, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the following: St. Clement’s Parish School Faculty, Staff and Parents, Loretto Academy Alumni, and El Paso High School alumni for their unconditional support. Visitation will be at Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana, on Friday, June 3 from 4pm to 9pm. A rosary will be conducted at 6pm and prayer service at 7pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Clement’s Church, 810 N Campbell St on Saturday, June 3 at 9am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa. A reception will be held at St. Clement’s Center for Excellence right after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Clement’s Parish School Scholarship Fund or Make-A-Wish Foundation El Paso.
