Baer Emory L "Sam" Baer, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Walter and Alice, brothers and sisters. Survived by loving wife and best friend, Frances M. Baer of 43 years; two daughters Christina and Lana; and one son Jackie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers; several brothers-in-law and their families; and several nieces and nephews. Sam proudly served in US Army during Vietnam. Member of Crossroads Church Circleville, OH. Also a life time member of DAV and retired after 27 years with the US Postal Service (National Assn of Letter Carriers Chapter 78). Visitation will be held Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Victorian Village Chapel, 34 W. 2nd Ave., where his funeral service will be held Friday 10 a.m. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Church. Pastor Tim Throckmorton officiating.
