William M. Gallo, Sr.
AGE: 70 • Matawan
William Murray Gallo, Sr., 70, of Matawan, passed away peacefully Monday, July 4, 2016, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel- surrounded by his family. Born in Cliffwood, he grew up there before moving to Matawan. He worked as a pipefitter with Local 32, Newark. He was a parishioner of St. Clement RC Church, Matawan. He is now with his special friend and faithful companion, his dog Luke.
William was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Elizabeth (Orlando) Gallo; and two sisters, Mary Faulk and Diane Howard. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Maureen (Marinaccio); his loving children, Tracy Guarneri and her husband Nicholas and William Gallo, Jr. and his wife Carla; three brothers, Chris and his wife Jane, Anthony and his wife Dot, and Alex; five cherished grandchildren; and one precious great grandson. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
At the direction of the family, William will be privately cremated. A Memorial Mass will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2016, 9:30AM, at St. Clement RC Church, Matawan. The family requests in lieu of flowers - donations be made to the Monmouth County SPCA in Bill's name.
