Brownsvillle........ Elena Maria Gallardo 71, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 8, 2016 in Harlingen, TX. She was an Active member of Jehovah witness congregation. Maria Elena was born December 25, 1944 in Brownsville, TX to Gilberto Garcia and Juanita Barrios. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Agustin P. Gallardo; son Guillermo Gallardo, brothers, Francisco, Isidro, Jose Guadalupe; sisters, Petra G. Cisneros, Manuela B. Garcia, Maria De Jesus Garza, Margarita Rodriguez. She is survived by her sons; Agustin (Estela) Gallardo, Jr., Gabriel (Laura) Gallardo, Josue (Priscilla) Gallardo; daughters, Alma Ruth (Juan) Barcenas, Rubia Ann (Federico) Flores, Mona Lisa Gallardo, Norma Dina (Yuniel) Morales, 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers Gilberto Garcia, Jr., Jose B. Garcia; sister, Maria De La Luz Resendez.
Visitation will be today Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Chapel service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Guerra Funeral Home of Brownsville.
interment will follow at Guillen Cemetery in Brownsville, Tx.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Brownsville.
