Dear Polly and Liz and family, Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. I have many fond memories from childhood of times at your house, and the kindness and fun that your mom offered to visitors. I always said hello in the days since then when we ran into each other at the grocery store. I'm glad to have known her.

God Bless Jean -- our next door neighbor, through the woods. She made our time at the top- of Hudson Drive in Brunswick thoroughly enjoyable -- weekend dinners and cocktail hours. Her visit to Virginia in September 2001, was very special. We loved her. Tim Hulbert, Bonnie Farone, Daniel, Sean, Michael, Moira and Jasper!

I believe that Jean is that lovely woman who was a friend of my mother(Mary), while she was living at Eddy Village Green. I enjoyed seeing her smile and chatting with her. My mother , always a mother hen, seemed to be protective of Jean. I thought of her often and wondered how she was doing after my mother died. Although we are lucky to have had our mothers for so long,it is still difficult when they go.

I had the distinct pleasure of providing transportation to and from appointments for Jean. This was a few years ago. I will always remember her as being full of life and a very classy lady. I am so sorry I lost touch with her in recent years, but she definitely made a lasting impression on me. I feel honored to have been her friend.
