Dorothy ("Dottie") Quinn
Dottie, 83, of Highland passed away peacefully on July 6, 2016. Dottie was born December 6, 1932 in McShan, Alabama. She met and married Peter ("Pete") Quinn in Georgia in 1952. She is survived by her two daughters Sharon (Quinn) Powell (Steve) of Chesapeake, VA, and Cori (Quinn) Freeman (David) of Highland, CA; brother, Wayman Jones; sister, Margaret Lash; as well as five loving grandchildren and one precious great-granddaughter. Dottie retired in 1987 from her bookkeeping position at Marie Callender's restaurant in Redlands. A memorial service will be held at Del Rosa United Methodist Church, 3350 Del Rosa Avenue, San Bernardino, on Sunday, July 17 at 4:30p.m., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (Michaeljfox.org). The family welcomes your stories and remembrances of Dottie, and those can be emailed to [email protected]. Services entrusted to Bobbitt Memorial Chapel.
