Going back to school this year is going to be very hard. So many good memories of my friend Ponch. I will especially miss the "floorzonie" talks in the mornings. It would have been twelve years next month. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. The kids will especially miss him. God bless his soul.

I will miss you my friend. Not seeing you every day is going to seem so weird. Not hearing your voice on the radio and seeing you on the zamboni is just not real! Thank you for those conversations in the copy room and the years of service at BR. The kids always could count on you. You didn't fool me with your hard exterior. Say hello to Sandy for us and throw a few snowballs and make some snowmen. See you later ......

Many a fond memory of working with Ponch at Glintz's and sharing stories in the halls of BCS while he was waiting for basketball practice to end to clean the gym. Truly a guy you could always count on pitching in to help. A welder's cap and a Carhartt jacket, that's the Ponch I'll remember.
