Eusebio C. Sandoval
Aug. 23, 1927 – July 29, 2016
Resident of Union City, CA
Eusebio (also known as Chevo and Andy) passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He, along with 2 sisters and 3 brothers, was born in Pearsall, TX. Chevo was a great husband to his wife Anita who preceded him in death and a loving father and grandfather. He was so very proud of his grandchildren, Miguel and JT. Many would say Chevo was most notable for his sternness and unwillingness to bend his morals; but those who truly knew him knew that both qualities came from a deep passion for his family and a desire to always do right by others.
Besides his family, he enjoyed doing what we now call "repurposing items". He loved to shop garage sales and flea markets and purchase items that he would take home and either restore or completely transform into something new. He built a bar, bar stools, and furnished his entire patio from discarded materials and other flea market discoveries. This was one of the many ways he was ahead of his time.
Chevo will be deeply missed by his family: daughters Anna Sandoval and Rose Sandoval-Mulvey, son-in-law Brad Mulvey, his grandchildren Miguel and JT Sandoval, his brother Albert, and family friends, Lety Gasca and Jesus Herrera.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, Mon., Aug., 8th, 1pm, Reflections Chapel, Chapel of the Chimes, (510) 474-0415.
