Kellner, Shirley Ann
Shirley Ann Kellner, 70, Schofield died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her home.
Shirley was born in Medford, WI on July 26, 1946 to the late Fred Mayer and Elaine Peterson Mayer. She attended the Westboro High School where she played clarinet in the marching band. On July 11, 1964 she married the love of her life, Donald Kellner, in Chelsea, WI.
Shirley enjoyed bird watching and all the wildlife in her yard, especially the squirrels. She also enjoyed canning, hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening and loved flowers. Beside going to the casino her greatest delight in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Donald; children: Daniel (Denise) Kellner of Hatley, Deborah (Everett) Casto of Midway, GA, David (Jennifer) Kellner of Weston, and Darla Plaster (Phil Holewinski) of Hatley; grandchildren: Dustin (Jacie), Dalton, Amanda, Jessica (Dylan), Johnathon (Taylor), Crystal (Kevin), Ashley (Derek), Zackary (Makia), Gunner, Jessie, Cody and Cassidy; great-grandchildren: Valerie, Tillman, Addison, Landen, Neveah, Kailey, Layden, Ayva, and Rosella. She is further survived by her mother, Elaine; brother, Kevin (Nancy) Mayer, Westboro; sister, Sharon Ennis of McFarland and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Mayer, brother Gary Mayer and grandson, Austin.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, 6101 Zinser Street, Weston. The Rev. Greg Bohren will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston and again on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at the church. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
